FOLLOWING THE EVIDENCE

Where to look more closely.

These are the radar’s current emerging and forming research views, not a ranked list of investments. Low-attention discoveries remain on the full radar. The missing pieces matter as much as the promising ones.

AI agents and workflow automation

Shift forming

Four different questions

I keep these separate. A busy conversation is not the same as a coherent change in belief, and neither tells us whether a share is good value. Unknowns are left open, not averaged into a score.

Velocity: how quickly is attention changing?
The latest available Hacker News index sample has 20 matching submissions versus 49 in the preceding window. Indexed submissions, not sentiment acceleration. Relevance and repeated originals need review. No global, seven-day or thirty-day baseline.

Sample observed 17 Oct 2026, 18:40 UTC; query “AI agent”.

16 Oct 2026, 18:40 UTC to 17 Oct 2026, 18:40 UTC: 20 indexed matches; 20 sampled stories and 20 submitters. Inspect this window.

15 Oct 2026, 18:40 UTC to 16 Oct 2026, 18:40 UTC: 49 indexed matches; 49 sampled stories and 49 submitters. Inspect this window.

Coherence: are independent people telling the same story?
Unknown. The saved assessment gives an interpretation. Cross-source agreement and independent new participants have not been measured by this discussion sample.
Flip strength: how far has the working view moved?
Not yet rated. Before and after are the analyst’s working contrast, not a measured market consensus or a numeric flip score.

Before: Supplier distribution and sponsored access are broadening, but usage intensity, research support and municipal exploration do not establish paid customer outcomes, recurring profit or worker benefit.

Now: Research offers concrete improvements in reusable skills, memory, tool contracts and constrained verification. The opportunity may sit in dependable specialist workflows and their integration, rather than a universally autonomous agent. The technical progress is promising, while independent deployed economics and broader market recognition remain unmeasured.

low confidence; assessed 17 Oct 2026, 16:28 UTC.

Instrument availability: can the idea be expressed?
Names and symbols identify candidates to investigate. Exchange, currency, liquidity, dated price/volume, valuation and redistribution permission require separate verification. No buy or sell cue.
  • NVIDIA, candidate hardware and software ecosystem exposure (NVDA): The supplier participates in local, cloud and simulation stacks. Sponsor donations and planned investments may develop distribution but do not establish outside paid demand or incremental retained margin.
  • Microsoft, candidate desktop-distribution exposure (MSFT): The NVIDIA account describes Windows agent infrastructure and co-development. Distribution may matter, but direct Microsoft source confirmation, paid adoption, unit economics and current valuation remain unassessed.

No exchange-verified dated price or valuation is attached. Nasdaq NVDA historical page returned data unavailable on 17 October. Third-party closing-price candidates are not cleared quotes; remaining expectations and instrument attractiveness are unknown.

Velocity: how quickly is attention changing?

Flip strength: how far has the working view moved?
Not yet rated. Before and after are the analyst’s working contrast, not a measured market consensus or a numeric flip score.

Before: Our earlier working contrast: usable power is a bottleneck for compute, potentially rewarding owners of contracted generation. That is not a measured consensus or a cleared valuation.

Now: Generation, grid access, control software and flexible demand may capture different parts of the bottleneck. Existing capacity can sometimes be used more effectively; not every constraint requires a new power plant.

low confidence; assessed 17 Oct 2026, 15:28 UTC.

Instrument availability: can the idea be expressed?
Names and symbols identify candidates to investigate. Exchange, currency, liquidity, dated price/volume, valuation and redistribution permission require separate verification. No buy or sell cue.
  • GE Vernova, grid-software and equipment candidate (GEV): The original issuer release identifies a utility adopter and an orchestration offering. Software, integration and equipment can monetise grid complexity, but the release does not establish incremental software revenue, margins, contract value or that GE supplies UKPN.
  • Constellation Energy (CEG): Existing nuclear agreement supplies a separate contracted-capacity route. Investment, power pricing, required capital and retained shareholder returns remain unassessed; grid flexibility and alternative supply can weaken scarcity rents.

No verified current quote or event-price study is attached. Remaining expectations gap is unknown.

Flip strength: how far has the working view moved?
Not yet rated. Before and after are the analyst’s working contrast, not a measured market consensus or a numeric flip score.

Before: The working view centred on transfer learning and factory pilots. A rising discussion count could have been mistaken for wider recognition; there was no cleaned, representative baseline.

Now: Open hardware and software offer another route for researchers and developers to experiment. One newly observed community post broadens the map, but this sample does not establish accelerating humanoid interest or a strong belief flip.

low confidence; assessed 17 Oct 2026, 18:26 UTC.

Instrument availability: can the idea be expressed?
Names and symbols identify candidates to investigate. Exchange, currency, liquidity, dated price/volume, valuation and redistribution permission require separate verification. No buy or sell cue.
  • Hexagon, named AEON technology partner; exposure unassessed: Robot systems, sensing, software and integration are directly connected to the named BMW programme. A deployment statement does not disclose order value, recognised revenue, margin, current listed vehicle or price.
  • NVIDIA, indirect compute candidate only (NVDA): Training and edge compute may benefit from wider deployment. These BMW/Hexagon originals do not establish NVIDIA supply terms or material incremental revenue from this programme.

NVDA remains an indirect candidate, not a verified supplier to RoboParty or a rated instrument. Interactive finance retrieval on 17 October returned dated USD price/volume, but its underlying source and public redistribution permission are not established. No quote is accepted into this public assessment; valuation, expectations and price confirmation remain unknown.

Flip strength: how far has the working view moved?
Not yet rated. Before and after are the analyst’s working contrast, not a measured market consensus or a numeric flip score.

Before: Working operational contrast, not a measured market consensus: laboratory automation executes fixed steps while people choose, reconcile and restart experiments.

Now: Separate 2026 programmes seek a closed loop between experiment choice, instruments, robotics and analysis, creating an integration and research-access opportunity.

low confidence; assessed 17 Oct 2026, 15:28 UTC.

Instrument availability: can the idea be expressed?
Names and symbols identify candidates to investigate. Exchange, currency, liquidity, dated price/volume, valuation and redistribution permission require separate verification. No buy or sell cue.
  • Thermo Fisher Scientific (TMO): Candidate broad laboratory-automation and integration exposure, not a disclosed supplier to these projects. Its undated Momentum FAQ, checked17Oct, describes orchestration and custom device integration: https://www.thermofisher.com/order/catalog/product/MOMENTUM/faqs . Revenue materiality and actual contracts remain unassessed.

No dated price, liquidity check or expectations/valuation assessment. TMO is a candidate exposure only, not a buy/hold/sell cue. No paid relationship or investment position established by these reads.
